Classes

Otters
9 – 17 months (by August 31st); age exemptions allowed by teacher approval
Caregivers and young toddlers connect and grow together with teacher-led learning through play. From the reading corner to our play structures, your student will have a vibrant and safe space to use those new motor skill and engage their interests. Our Otters students and their caregivers attend a 1.5-hour class together, once a week. This has been a popular class over the years and we are excited to offer it again at our new Green Lake location!

| Fridays 10-11:30am NEW |
| 11 spots still available (as of 3/8) REGISTER |
Looking for a class for infants younger than 9 months old? We’re still determining if we will also offer a younger infants class this fall – contact us if you’d like to be notified if we add one.

ORCAS
1.5-2.5 years old (by August 31st); age exemptions allowed by teacher approval
From the reading corner to our play structures, your student will have a vibrant and safe space to use those new motor skill and engage their interests. Outdoor play is followed by snack time, indoor activities, and concludes with Circle Time. Our Orcas students attend a 2-hour class, two days a week: one drop-off day and one caregiver workday. We understand our younger students might need an adjustment period before being comfortable with drop-off – we work with each family to support this process with the goal of eventually working towards drop-off so students can benefit from the growth and independence it nurtures.
We started offering this new older toddler/young preschooler age range in 2025 and it quickly became a hit with families who are excited to do a two-day/week class with their child and get used to the drop-off system prior to joining our Pre-3s Chickadees class.

ENROLLMENT FAQS
How quickly will classes fill?
Each year is different, but we expect Chickadees and Eagles to fill the fastest because existing students will graduate into these classes. After a class fills we will start a waitlist. We typically see a few spots open in spring so there’s definitely a chance to join off the waitlist.
What payment is due at registration?
A $50 non-refundable registration fee is due within 48 hours of registering in order to reserve your child’s spot in the class. In May, we will host an Orientation for all 2026-27 families, and the September Tuition Deposit is due then to confirm your enrollment for the fall and continue to secure your spot.
What if I register but then our family’s plans change?
We understand that life shifts and plans change. Please contact us as soon as you know, so we can open up that spot for anyone who is on the waiting list. The $50 registration fee is non-refundable. If you have already paid the September Tuition Deposit (due in May), it is refundable up until June 30, 2026.
How do I get an age exception for my child to attend a different class?
You will need to receive teacher approval prior to registering. Please contact us with your child’s birthday and the class you’d like to register for, and we can connect you with our teachers to discuss.
Jovial is preschool management software designed for non-profit organizations like us.
