Class Descriptions

OTTERS

Otters (12-24 months with age exemptions possible for younger students*) meets one day per week with caregivers attending with their children (no drop-off). This a great way to introduce your child to a preschool setting and meet other parents in your neighborhood. Your child begins to socialize with their peers while you build your supportive community. Otters class is led by Teacher Naomi.  Our Otters students attend a 2 hour class, one day a week.

*If your child is younger than 12 months please reach out and we can connect you with our teacher to see if an age exemption is a good fit.

ORCAS & CHICKADEES

Orcas & Chickadees classes both meet two days per week: one drop-off day and one caregiver workday. From the reading corner to our play structures, your student will have a vibrant and safe space to use those new motor skill and engage their interests. Outdoor play is followed by snack time, indoor activities, and concludes with Circle Time with Teacher Naomi. Our Orcas and Chickadees students attend a 2 hour class, two days a week.

Our Eagles students attend a 2.5 hour class, four days a week.

EAGLES PRE-K

Older Eagles students (4-5 years old) can choose to also enroll in our Pre-K extension, which adds an extra 1.5 hour after the main Eagles class ends. This class is dedicated to Kindergarten readiness and building endurance for the longer school days ahead, and is led by Teacher Lauren. Our curriculum aligns with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) teaching standards. Topics include Social Emotional, Social Studies, Literacy, Math, and Science, and there is intersectionality among all subjects and activities.
